cdrom-checker software package provides Verify the cd contents, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cdrom-checker
cdrom-checker is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cdrom-checker package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cdrom-checker *
You will get with cdrom-checker package name, version, architecture and description in a table
